Frequently Asked Questions

What size should the image be?

The quick answer is 16" x 36". Please be aware that approximately
1/2 of an inch will be cut off of the final product. Keep any important
design details at least 1/2" away from the edges (1 inch is better).

How do I get a premium image on the mat?

Upload an image that is sized accordingly and atleast 300 DPI. Our playmat builder minimum requirements to upload is 150 DPI though be aware that a 150 DPI image stretched to 14.5"x24.5" may not be optimal. They do work great for multiple image - collage style playmats.

What is DPI?

DPI stands for "dots per inch" and is a measurement used to describe the resolution of an image, particularly in print. It indicates how many individual dots of ink or pixels fit within a linear inch of an image.
Higher DPI values generally mean better print quality, as more detail
can be captured and reproduced. For example, 300 DPI is often considered standard for high-quality prints, while lower DPI settings, like 72 DPI, are typically used for images intended for screen display.

What file type can I use?

We accept JPG, PNG, and BML files.

Is there a way to preview the image?

Yes, the bottom menu has an icon called Preview Lightbox. Click this to get a better preview of the final image quality.

Keep in mind, if it looks blurry on the lightbox it will print the same way on the playmat.

Mats are great customer service is kinda trash.

Bought a few mats from them, but for this purchase the website kept my old address and I didn't realized it until after I checked out. When I emailed customer service the responsed telling me to fix instead of making the correction before shipping, and helping me since it should have been an easy fix.

We are sorry for the miscommunication, we recieved your request and stated we would correct the address. When you emailed us back saying you updated it via PayPal we thought the issue was resolved. Well try harder going forward!
